PFPA to Hold Picket in Front of City Hall of Capital
Baku / 10.10.19 / Turan: On October 8, at 12 o"clock, activists of the Popular Front party intend to picket the building of the Baku City Hall. They intend to demand ensuring the right of citizens to freedom of assembly.
As the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Karimli said on the eve, members of the National Council will also take part in the rally.
"We will submit a written appeal to the city hall demanding to ensure our right to freedom of assembly," he said.
Earlier, the city hall refused to authorize the PFPA rally on September 28 within the city, sending activists outside the capital.
The Popular Front Party regards the proposal of the City Hall as a violation of its legal rights.
Note that after the rally on January 19 of this year, the authorities did not sanction a single protest rally. -03B-

A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
