On July 3 a group of Russian human rights activists and representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Moscow held a rally in front of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow. They demanded the release of Hilal Mamedov, editor of "Tolishi Sado", arrested in Baku.
Among the protesters there was Svetlana Gannushkina, the chairman of the Committee "Civil Assistance", a member of the Board and Head of Network "Migration and Law" Human Rights Center “Memorial.”
