Police confiscated 24 kg of drugs from Baku resident.
Baku/27.12.23/Turan: During operational searches, police officers arrested Imamverdi Iskenderov, a resident of Baku, born in 1993, suspected of drug trafficking.
According to the press service of the Interior Ministry, 24 kg of narcotics and psychotropic substances were found and confiscated during a personal search and a search of the car, including 13 kg of dried marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, 7 kg of heroin and 4 kg of methamphetamine.
Iskenderov testified during the investigation that he had taken the drugs on behalf of his friend, an Iranian citizen, from a warehouse in the Astara region, delivered them to Baku and intended to sell them to individuals on the eve of the holidays.
The operation was carried out by employees of the main drug control department of the Interior Ministry. -05B06-
