Baku/24.10.22/Turan: On the eve of a protest rally to be held by the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) in front of the Baku City Hall at 4 p.m. on October 24, police detain activists.
Among those detained are the organizers of the rally, members of the PPFA, as well as representatives of other opposition forces.
Recall that the authorities did not sanction the rally, at which the opposition intended to demand freedom of assembly, the release of political prisoners, free elections, radical reforms and the opening of the land borders. -03D06-
