Baku / 08.06.20 / Turan: The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made a statement at noon on today's detentions of residents in the Yeni Yasamal settlement of Baku.
They detained 11 people who had thrown garbage at the police the day before and cursed at the police who had detained a quarantine violator, the report said.
“The police officers showed restraint by applying a measure of administrative responsibility against the specified person.
During the investigation, the identities of 11 persons who threw various items at the police were established. They were detained and taken to the territorial police.
The necessary investigation is currently under way to give a legal assessment of their act.” –16D-

Police Special Forces against Civilians in Yeni Yasamal
Baku / 08.06.20 / Turan: In the morning of June 8, numerous forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs rapid reaction regiment conducted a special operation against residents of the Yeni Yasamal massif of the capital. So, the police detained the residents of an apartment building at the address: 13 Dadash Bunyadzadeh Street.
The day before, in this courtyard, residents threw garbage at the police officers who detained one of the residents for violating the quarantine regime.
Today, the police decided to punish those who on the eve protested against their actions.
Today, police burst into apartments and pulled the people out into the street, twisting them like repeat offenders. The residents of the house shouted from the balconies and took pictures on phones, and exposed what was happening on the social network. Judging by the personnel, at least 10 people were detained.
