Baku/31.05.19/Turan: On May 31, the Absheron court held a trial against members of the PFPA who took part in the rally on May 28 - Republic Day.
Adil Babayev, Nizami Abbasov, Ruslan Sharifov, Elshan Hasanov were found guilty under the Article 513.2 (violation of the rules for organizing and conducting meetings) of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined 300 manat.
According to Nizami Abbasov, he did not break any rules during the event; the police who blocked the road, and did not allow citizens to go to the place of the rally.
"When the police showed rudeness towards us, I shouted "Azerbaijan!". At that very moment, the police officers twisted my arms, and the flag fell from my hands. Then I was taken to the police, where they drew up a report. Today I am fined for what I did not do. I will appeal," he said.
Yesterday, on May 30, a member of the Coordinating Council of the National Council, Tofik Yagublu, and three members of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan were fined by the Absheron court for 300 manat.--0--
