Evaluation of the national security of the country, unjustified self-promotion of the authorities, the manat-dollar hype, and the situation in the shopping center Bina are the leading topics of today's press.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about ensuring the national security of the country against the background of the extradition of the blogger Lapshin, saying that violation of the state borders is unacceptable. Anti-Azerbaijani forces must understand that impacting Azerbaijan in any form is impossible.
The website Azadliq.info writes that small deeds of the authorities are represented as a great success, as evidenced by the Lapshin case and the village Jojug Mardjanly restoration.
The authorities are holding a presentation of the village liberated in 1994 in 2017, the author writes.
Echo has published an article entitled We Advise Citizens Not to Buy Dollars for Their Remaining Manats. Experts believe that new devaluation is inevitable, though the Central Bank tries to delay it. It is the old game of the Central Bank, which has lasted since summer 2016. The meaning is in gathering AZN en masse at relatively low price, so citizens should not buy USD for their remaining AZN.
The dollar supply coming to Azerbaijan does not grow, so any strengthening of the manat can be no question, experts say.
The website Musavat.com writes about the situation in the shopping center Bina, where more than half of the shops are empty. However, the leadership of the center does not reduce the high rents. –0--
