Press review 08.09.12

 

  Official newspapers published a report on the briefing of President Ilham Aliyev and 

NATO Secretary General, Fogh Rasmussen, publish their statements and responses to questions from the press.

 

   "Azadlig" newspaper asked readers  for support because of the threat of closure due to financial problems. The newspaper also publishes the international partner calling on   the government  to support newspaper.

    Newspaper commented ironically  the statements of the head of the ideological department of the Presidential Administration, Ali Hasanov, who said that the government care for the distribution of newspapers.

    Representatives of the Public Chamber said that the nomination of Ilham Aliyev as a candidate for a third term may, may  result in the democratic revolution.

    OSCE mission of 19 ambassadors expressed a desire to meet with representatives of the opposition.

 

  "Express" Most of the places in the universities that train specialists of the agricultural sector remained vacant. This is a reflection of unfavorable situation in the country's agriculture.
