The author of the article writes that from 2013 to 2016, about a thousand sub-artesian wells were drilled.

As a result, water supply of 347 thousand hectares of irrigated areas was improved, and the situation improved by 239,000 ha. The author continues to cite data on sub-artesian wells and irrigated areas of cultivated land.

The Echo published an article entitled "About 25% of goods in the Azerbaijani market -" gray "imports. In general, the Azerbaijani market has about 25% of smuggling. These are different goods - from agricultural goods to lighters, which were imported illegally. This includes counterfeit products, and about 20% of tobacco products on the Azerbaijani market are smuggled goods. An inefficient consumer policy on the part of state bodies leads to an increase in smuggled and counterfeit products. It is worth noting that consumers prefer smuggled goods, as the price for them is cheaper, and the people consider them to be better products.

The Central Bank released another statistics, according to which the volume of problem loans increased by 14.90% or AZN 225.6 million on an annualized basis.
