The official newspaper Azerbaijan published an article devoted to the conduct of Azerbaijan in global international events. Azadlig published an article entitled: George Soros Calls Ilham Aliyev Dictator. Soros regrets about the mild attitude of the West to Azerbaijan, arguing that dictatorship reigns in Azerbaijan. He had the opportunity to talk with Aliyev, who claims that he is not responsible for the repression in the country. The West is making a big mistake by supporting Ilham Aliyev, Soros said.

Echo published an article entitled Counterfeiters Active? It is said that counterfeiters undermine the authority of the government, which has a negative impact on the overall crime situation and leads to social tensions.

In view of the adverse economic changes that affected almost the entire world, fraudsters are becoming active. Today in Azerbaijan there is a problem with the purchase of foreign currency, and the criminals want to use this. Against this background, there are facts of growing production and marketing of counterfeit currency in Azerbaijan. Today there is still fake currency in the market circulation. Identifying the criminals is not easy, as they quickly cover their tracks.

Novoye Vremya published an article entitled Foreign Exchange Reserves Melting before Our Eyes. The strategic currency reserves of the State Oil Fund and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in 2015 amounted to 38 billion 590.8 million dollars. SOFAZ accounted for 87%, or 33.57% of the dollar reserves.

SOFAZ currency reserves for the year decreased by 9.5% or 3.53 billion in USD terms, and by the end of the year amounted to 33.57 billion dollars.

Refusal of intervention by the Central Bank faces an even greater collapse of the exchange rate of AZN.

Hope for the high price of "black gold" is meaningless, because another glut of the raw material is expected in the oil market, which, accordingly, can bring down the price of oil.

Bizim Yol published an article entitled: The Poor at Prohibited Beaches. The author investigates the state of free beaches, the most popular of which is Shykhovo. All the seashore is captured by businessmen that provide paid services. Capture of the coastline annoys residents of the capital. On some wild beaches there is the sign “Forbidden to Bathe!”
