The newspaper "Azerbaijan" writes about the Baku Global Forum. Baku was elected not by chance , but because of an adequate attitude to various religious denominations.
This is the fifth forum held in Baku since 2013. In various years this forum gathered up to 300 eminent social and political figures.
The present Fourth forum is devoted to the theme "Harmonization of contradictions for building inclusive societies". The forum, which will last until March 17, will bring together up to 500 well-known public figures.
The newspaper "Echo" writes about holidays and sparse rest of citizens. Observations of recent years show that Azerbaijani citizens have started to travel abroad to Novruz and spend more time in the regions of the country. This is due to the devaluation of the national currency, because of which prices abroad for Azerbaijani citizens have doubled.
Rest in the regions is also not cheap, but many people cannot afford it either.
According to experts, this year no more than 3% of Azerbaijani citizens will go abroad during Novruz holiday.
The website "Azadlıqinfo.az" writes that the abuse of fuel used to produce electricity caused damage of 24 million manats.
Despite the growth of used fuel by 10.5 grams (3.6%) for the production of 1 kWh of electricity, its production in the country decreased by 500 (2% 0 million kWh).
Further, the author calls for the speedy implementation of reforms in the field of governance, otherwise the social situation of the population will become even more complicated.
