Prison Service Denies Prisoner Hunger Strike
The state of the No1 prison inmate Elshan Pashayev, on hunger strike since March 2, remains difficult. Turan was told by his mother Lydia Mirzaliyeva. Recall that her son sewed his mouth to protest against injustice to him.
"I know that his condition is bad and I am not given a meeting with him," she said.
Elshan Pashayev was convicted on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to 12 years, 10 of which he has already served. In this regard, he appealed to the court for an exemption from the remainder of the sentence. The appeal was considered on February 24 and rejected.
Lydia Mirzaliyeva claims that her son was put forward a false accusation. According to her, the documents from the morgue said that the cause of the death of the person was alcoholism.
"I complained to various authorities, but my complaint was ignored.
The Prison Service rejected the mother’s inquiry, as they told Turan.
The physical conditions of the prisoner Elshan Pashayev are normal. Information about the fact that he went on hunger strike is not true, they told Turan in this department.
"I just want to be allowed to meet with my son. I will ask him to stop the hunger strike," Lydia Mirzaliyeva said in turn.
According to her, after the arrest of her son, she and her daughter have been very sick. "My son was slandered, and after his arrest for 10 years, I have visited 47 times the Attorney General and cut my wrists there, but all was to no avail," said Lydia Mirzaliyeva. -03B04-
