Prosecutor General`s Office warns Tofig Yagublu (UPDATED)

Today, the deputy chairman of the party "Musavat" Tofig Yagublu was summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office, where he was  warned in connection with publications in the "facebook" and the media, reads  the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The guilt of  Yagublu are  statements about the presence of political prisoners in Azerbaijan and that ruling circles are behind it. In addition, claims  caused Yagublu statements about tensions in prisons between Shiites and Wahhabis that upon release of the latter, they will arrange  terrorist  attacks. Yagublu was told that for inciting ethnic, social and religious hatred is provided a liability under the  Article 283 of the Criminal Code, and in case of repetition  strict measures will be taken against Yagublu. -06D-

Deputy Chairman of the party "Musavat", the former "prisoner of conscience", Tofig Yagublu was summoned to the Attorney General’s Office at 17:00. In the morning an investigator Nadir Mirzayev  who conducted his case in 2013 phoned him and told that  Yagublu was summoned to the First Deputy Prosecutor General Rustam Usubov, told Yagublu.

Since Yagublu was at the funeral of martyr in Neftchala,  they agreed that he would  come to the Attorney General’s Office only at 17:00. Yagublu does not know why he was summoned.

In 2013 he was arrested in connection with the unrest in Ismayilli, and sentenced to  five  years in prison.  On 17 March this year, the President of Azerbaijan pardoned him.- 05B-
