Protest Action in Front of Azerbaijani Embassy in Berlin
A group of young people held a protest in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Berlin on May 19 in connection with the arrest of the activists Bayram Mammadov and Giyas Ibrahimov.
The protesters demanded the release of the young activists who were arrested on false charges of drug trafficking.
The protesters were wearing shirts with the images of Mammadov and Ibrahimov and the arrested journalist Khadija Ismayilova.
The Azerbaijani dissidents plan to hold similar actions in front of the country's embassies in other European countries.
At the entrance of the Azerbaijani embassies in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey banners were posted, reading: "We are neither slaves, nor drug addicts!”and “We are the youth you want to destroy!” Meydan TV reports. -03D-
