All ten participants of yesterday's protests in Saatli have been released from police custody. As reported by Turan, the detainees were warned against further participation in unauthorized actions.
Recall that disgruntled residents protested against the tyranny of officials "who have eaten the" finance allocated by the Government to address the consequences of the floods in May and June of 2010. The police dispersed the crowd, detaining 10 people. -17C-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
