Baku / 10/17/18 / Turan: Tension in the landslide zone in the village of Badamdar persists, and torrential rain can accelerate the landslide. This was stated by the representative of the geological exploration service of the Ministry of Environment Aziz Garalov.
"In general, tensions remain. Rain can have an impact on landslide intensification. In the current situation to conduct any geological research is impossible. It will be possible to reach any conclusion after the process is fully stabilized," said Garalov on Wednesday morning.
According to him, the first thing to do is to repair the sewer line. For if now the process is stabilized, the problem will recur in 3-5 years.
Recall that the landslide began on October 10 in the territory between the 20th Section area and the village of Badamdar, covering an area of several hundred meters of the mountain slope. Residents of 11 houses were evacuated. The supply of gas, water and electricity to the area was stopped.
Experts believe that the cause of the activation of landslide activity was indiscriminate illegal building and the lack of a sewerage system. -05B06-
