Rayil Abbasov not detained – Interior Ministry
Baku/06.06.23/Turan: Rayil Abbasov, a friend of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, was invited to the investigation, but was not detained, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
"Rayil Abbasov was invited as part of the investigative actions, he has not been detained," said Ibrahim Amiraslanli, an employee of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, responding to a request from Turan.
Earlier, Hajiyev's lawyers reported that on the morning of June 6, security forces came to Abbasov's apartment with a search. After that, Abbasov stopped contacting. Activists suggested that Abbasov could have been detained. ---06B---
