In accordance with the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev, Shamsaddin Hajiyev was dismissed from the post of the rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASEU.)
Adalat Muradov was appointed to this post; previously he worked as head of the department of economic policy analysis and forecasting of the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Muradov is a graduate of the Kiev State University, Doctor of Economics .
Shamsaddin Hajiyev was one of the most influential members of the rector's corps, and also is the head of the
Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education.
