Political Bloc "Karabakh" calls on Azerbaijan to leave the CIS
Party "Umid" and the Democratic Party, the Bloc "Karabakh" called on the Azerbaijani authorities to leave the CIS in sign of protest against the actions of Russia in Ukraine. The statement of the Block sent to the agency Turan reads that the persistent struggle of the Ukrainian people ousted the pro-Russian regime in this country. "But the thinking of Putin's occupation regime has pushed Russia to the violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine. Deployment to the territory of a sovereign state and taking hostage the population of the regions is a violation of the territorial integrity of the country," reads the statement. Such actions by Russia testify that this country is not in compliance with its international obligations, and also poses a real threat to its neighbors. It is dangerous to be in the same organization with such a country. Taking all this into consideration, Azerbaijan should leave the CIS. -02D-
