Ministry of Education is creating a new policy to cooperate more effectively with the media, reads the statement posted on the website of the Ministry. The new policy is that all of the appeals received by the Ministry of Education will be reviewed within 24-48 hours, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
The press should sent appeals and requests to the e-mail PR department press@edu.gov.az or fax 496-37-76.
The Minister of Education Mikail Djabbarov, appointed last week, announced the beginning of reforms in education and made a number of appointments.
Such bureaucracy will certainly complicate the work of journalists, when a comment on urgent matters is required. -16D04-
