Relatives of Victim Oilmen Received in MOE
The relatives of oilmen, who died on the offshore field Guneshli in December 2015, gathered in front of the Ministry of Emergency Situations today for a meeting with the Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov.
Relatives of the missing are dissatisfied with the course of the search, and require an intensification of the search.
Today, they were received by the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Etibar Mirzoyev, the meeting participant Esmira Ahmedova told Turan.
The relatives are unhappy about the information that the search for missing persons stopped, but the Deputy Minister assured them that the search continues.
Recall that on December 4, 2015 there was a fire on the Guneshli platform No 10. Of the 63 oilmen, 34 people were rescued. On the same day, on another platform in the sea t three more oilmen were lost.
Since then, the bodies of 14 have been found in various places. At present, 16 people are still missing. -05B-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
