Residents of Houses in the Bayil Landslide Zone Receive Compensation
Baku / 21.02.18 / Turan: The evicted inhabitants of the landslide slope in the Bayil housing estate began to receive compensation through bank cards in the Sabayil branch of the International Bank (IBA).
The funds are transferred by the Ministry of Finance, said Israfil Kerimov, a senior employee of the Sabail District Executive Power.
Payment of cash compensation for temporary rent of housing started on February 19. Each family will receive at least 260 manat a month, depending on the composition of the family. Payment through the bank to 67 families is planned in the period of 11 months, after which a decision will be made about the further residence of these people. Funds are allocated from the State Reserve Fund.
Recall that a landslide in the village of Bayil, according to some sources, was the result of groundwater intensified as a result of rain. -0-
