Residents of the village of Nehram are deprived of water
On Monday about 20 residents of the village of Nehram in Babek region of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) on Monday held a protest in front of the local department of the Office of Water Resources. Residents complain about the termination of the water supply for irrigation of crops of grain. According to residents, it is done intentionally, in the interests of local officials, who are trying to strangle small producers of grain.
However, no one met the protesters. Regional correspondent of Turan failed to get comments from the Executive Power of Babak region and regional water management. So, having learned what the journalist is going to ask officials refused to talk to him. -85C-
