R.Mirkadyrov is not permitted to meet with relatives
A journalist Rauf Mirkadyrov who is kept in the jail of the MNS, still is not permitted telephone conversations or a meeting with relatives, said his lawyer Elmar Suleymanov who visited the journalist on September 2. He said that Mirkadyrov’s health is normal.
The lawyer said that he was preparing a complaint to the European Court of Human Rights relating to the refusal to grant Mirkadyrov meetings with family and talks with them on the phone.
The lawyer said that Mirkadyrov was interrogated several times, and investigations against him are no longer held.
Columnist of "The Mirror" newspaper, Mirkadyrov, was arrested on April 19 immediately after the deportation from Turkey at the Baku airport. He is charged with treason. Journalist denies the charge, and regards it as absurd and politically motivated..-16D-
