Road cycle race in the center of Baku paralyzed traffic
Due to road racing cyclists within the European games on June 20-21, the traffic on the main streets and avenues of Baku has been closed. In this regard, routes of city buses reduced seriously, and the bulk of passengers forced to use the subway, which is overloaded.
Traffic jams are observed on parallel streets with cycling route.
Cycling route will cover the most important route of the city: from the area of "Azadlig" through the seaside boulevard in the mountainous part of the city, across the avenue Javid, Inshaatchilar, Samad Vurgun and Bakikhanov streets. -06D-

On November 12, the summit of world leaders commenced at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Baku. According to "Euronews," citing sources from the UN, the event is attended by around 100 heads of state.

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
