Falig Valiyev, a citizen of Azerbaijan, was put on the international wanted list, he was detained in the Russian Federation and handed over to the Azerbaijani side on August 27, 2020, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported.
Valiyev is accused of training for terrorist purposes outside Azerbaijan and participation in armed formations outside Azerbaijan.
Investigative and operational activities are being carried out within the framework of a criminal case initiated in 2006 on the participation of Azerbaijani citizens in hostilities in third countries. -02D-
