School N23 is demolished due to an abnormal condition?
Demolition of school N23 in Baku, one of the most famous and prestigious schools of the capital, began on December 12. Demolition is conducted by “Azimport”; instead a new seven-story will be built, according to unnamed representative of the construction company. Being asked about the reasons for demolition, he said that the school was in "emergency" state.
Pupils of the school N23 will continue classes in the school by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation (next to City Clinical Center.) According to some information, two residential buildings adjacent to the School N23, will be demolished, many residents have been relocated.
The idea of building a new modern school with its campus and other attributes, belongs to Mehriban Aliyeva, who studied in School N23.
