The search group used the special equipment RECCOR, with the help of which the territory where avalanches descended was scanned.
Participants of the group scanned the territory, where two powerful avalanches descended, in stages, and also searched outside these zones.
Search works were conducted at altitudes from 2,800 to 3,000 meters. The RECCOR system detects phone SIM cards. However, the snow cover was so thick that the searchers did not find anything. To continue the search, they need amplifying antennas. After their installation, the search works will be continued, Mammadov wrote.
Recall that Namin Bunyadov, Farida Jafarzadeh and Babur Huseynov were supposed to make an ascent to the Mount Tufan summit on December 24. However, they did not call. The search for the three has not yet yielded results. -02B-
