Self-immolation is a protest against father-in-law
Rahim Abdullayev, a 34 year-old resident of the village of Topalhasanli in Kurdamir region, committed self-immolation in the yard of his father-in-law.
According to local sources, the reason for this step became a quarrel with his wife. When father-in-law refused to let his daughter home with her husband, the latter decided to set himself on fire. The victim's health is serious, and he was sent to Baku.

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
