Sentence against the first group of the accused in the Naradaran case is expected
On Wednesday, January 25 is expected sentencing of 18 defendants in the case of Nardaran.
Earlier at the trial spoke Prosecutor, the defense and the defendants themselves who can be sentenced to long prison terms, and the leaders of the movement "Muslim unity" - to life sentence.
On November 26, 2015 the police conducted an operation in Nardaran, detaining dozens of believers from the movement "Muslim unity". At the same time, six people were killed, including two policemen.
The detained activists were subjected to severe torture by the police and were made to recognize preparing for anti-state activities and the establishment of religious orders in the country.
More than 80 people were arrested. The trial of another group of Nardaran residents will begin upon completion of the first court trial.-16D-
