Shell Explosion Wounds Eight-year Boy in Terter
Eght-year Elvin Huseynli was injured and received burns of varying degrees as a result of a shell explosion in the village of Askipara in the Terter region.
The ammunition was in a pile of garbage, which caught fire from a thrown match, according to the National Agency for Mine Action.
According to the same source, on June 15 in the village Jamilli of the Terter region inspection was conducted on a sown area and seven sites of explosions. A part of the 9M22U rocket motor was found. In the Shirarkh rural area, the inspection of two houses and five explosion places was carried out and a 100 mm artillery shell OF-412 was found.
The agency notes that inspection of a crop area and three explosion places was carried out in Horadiz of the Fizuli region. A 151-mm artillery shell was found. The shell was neutralized by an explosion.
The Agency reports that from April 7 to June 15, 531 unexploded shells, 14 anti-personnel mines, 3 anti-personnel POMZ-2 and 7 anti-tank mines were found and neutralized. -16d04-
