Smuggling of 42 kg of drugs from Iran was stopped in 4 days
Baku/06.11.23/Turan: The military personnel of the Goradiz border guard managed to prevent the smuggling of 42 kg of drugs from Iran, the statement of the state Border Service of Azerbaijan.
On November 1, at about 14.40, border guards found and seized about 8 kg of marijuana near the village of Hajali in the Zangilan region.
On the same day, a border violator, an Iranian citizen, was detained near the village of Mahmudlu in the Fizuli district.31 kg of drugs were seized from him (methamphetamine, marijuana and opium, as well as 2000 tablets of Metadon M-40, 600 tablets of Pregabalin-150 and other drugs.
On November 4, at about 10.55, 3 kg of marijuana were found and seized near the village of Boyuk Bahmanli, Fizuli region.
