Within the framework of the European Political Community's fourth summit, a meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia was expected on July 19 in London. However, this did not take place. Official Baku announced that Armenia had declined the meeting, while Yerevan, on the contrary, stated that Azerbaijan had withdrawn from the meeting.

A group of Azerbaijani economists has appealed to President Ilham Aliyev, requesting assistance in changing the detention measure for Nazim Baydemirli, a former deputy and businessman. In a significant development, the Investigative Committee of Armenia announced the completion of its investigation and the submission of the criminal case against Sarkis Galstyan, accused of espionage, to court. Galstyan, who is the uncle of Karabakh MP David Galstyan from the Justice faction, allegedly held various positions in occupied Karabakh, including deputy head of the Shusha district administration and deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
