State Committee Allocated Aid to Religious Communities

The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations provided financial assistance to 10 religious communities. Five more religious communities have been registered, the State Committee said.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Sayad Salahli said financial assistance was allocated to strengthen religious education and to promote national and spiritual values.

Religious communities are encouraged to improve their efforts in this regard and to fight against radicalism.

Recall that according to the presidential decree, in 2015, financial assistance was provided to 87 religious communities. Nineteen of them are non-Muslim, and the remaining 68 are Islamic.

Recall that in 2015 the State Committee registered 52 religious communities, of which 49 are Muslim and 3 - non-Muslim. -05D04-
