State Committee for Refugees Warns IDPs
The Azerbaijan State Committee for Refugees warned about the need for internally displaced persons to settle the apartments available to them. Otherwise, they will be deprived of benefits and entitlements.
According to the agency, some IDPs abuse care of the state.
For example, some IDPs, referring to the accommodation of previously occupied sites and temporary registration there, strongly appeal to the higher bodies with a demand to provide them with new housing. Subsequently, however, in some cases, it appears that the new housing given them remains empty. "Despite repeated warnings, these people do not pass back the old apartment and do not move into new ones," the statement says.
The State Committee warned that if the new apartments are not settled or given back for ten days, these persons will be temporarily suspended the issuance of allowances for food and utility payments. -06B-
