State of emergency is secretly introduced in the village of Nardaran (VIDEO - UPDATED)

The village of Nardaran is  secretly  under the state of emergency. Police forces and interior troops are on key positions in the village. Local residents  are not allowed to assemble.  Traffic in the central part of the village is forbidden. During today's operation were arrested several people. During searches in the homes  were confiscated even household axes. The village still has no electricity. Mobile Internet began to work late in the afternoon.

There is no clarity with the funeral of those killed in the raid on November 26. According to some sources they were secretly buried. However, local elders with reference to the relatives of the victims,  say about  the lack of information about it.

Pro-regime media have reported restoring order in Nardaran and  taking away  the barricades. However, local elders remind us that the protest has been completed, and the barricades were dismantled  even on  29  November.

Tomorrow is also a heavy day. December 2 is the 40th day of mourning for Imam Hussein, which  the Shiites mark in the month of Muharram. On  this day, thousands of believers gather in Nardaran on the mourning ceremony. 06D-

Detention of local residents continue in the village of Nardaran. Security forces burst into the houses, break door, take out men, putting them in police cars. One of the locals said that during the night armed police officers came to them. At the same time, the head of the family was detained and accused of illegal possession of weapons, which security forces brought themselves.

Then a few journalists entered the house, and the hostess told that her husband and son were taken away for questioning, promising to return. It is unknown how many people were detained today in Nardaran.  However, the actions of police and the National Security Ministry show that the security forces  are searching for weapons and "harmful" books. MIA does not comment on these allegations. The village is still blocked by the security forces,  and other people are not allowed to Nardaran.-06В-

There are armored vehicles in the area. A special operation is conducted in the Bunyadovs’ house nearby.

It was there that the theologian Taleh Bagirzadeh and his associates were arrested on November 26.

Journalists are not allowed to the scene.

It is noteworthy that among the special police force there are women who search the local women residents. -06D-

On Monday evening around the village of Nardaran were strengthened positions of police and internal troops. However, it did not stop only in Nardaran.

As Turan was told by locals, this morning police blocked traffic on the entrance to the neighboring village - Mashtaga. With that, the posts already covered several kilometers - from the circle in the Zabrat settlement. From there passed only vehicles owned by local residents. The second post is installed directly at the entrance to Mashtaga (monument to Mamedyarov). Police check documents of people in cars and buses.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry, National Security Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office issued a statement, which said about the new special operations of forces and equipment entering the Interior and National Security Ministry troops in Nardaran this morning.

"We conduct operations to collect illegally held weapons and ammunition from the population," the report says.

According to some reports, troops occupied intersections and main roads of the village, and began checking and detentions. According to official data, the authorities know places where weapons are stored.

On November 26 police seized 12 grenades, 4 machine guns, 3 controlled mines and so forth.

Note that last night the bodies of the men killed on November 26 in a collision with the police were delivered to Nardaran. Their funeral is expected on December 1.

At the same time strengthened the posts at the entrances to the Nardaran where units of internal troops stand. The village is still without electricity, gas, mobile and fixed telephone communication.

All these measures are taken by the authorities because of concerns that the funeral of those killed by police will turn into a serious manifestation of protest.

To this end, the forces of law and order as much as possible limit access to the Nardaran of citizens from other places. The situation is complicated by the fact that December 2 Shiites mark the 40th day of mourning for Imam Hussein.

The Nardaran mosque is the main center where residents of Absheron traditionally celebrate this date. Every year, the ceremony is attended by 20-30 thousand people. This year it coincides with the funeral and mourning for the dead

The clash with the police has special significance, as the locals draw historical parallels - comparing the cowardly murder of Imam Hussein 1,400 years ago with today's events. -05B-
