Sumgayit authorities block PFPA event
The Sumgayit branch of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) intends to appeal to the court against the executive power of the city, and plans to hold a picket in front of the executive branch. This is stated in the information department of the Popular Front Party of Sumgait.
The lawsuit was caused by the refusal of the Chief Executive of Sumgait Eldar Azizov to provide the party with an opportunity to hold the conference.
The party appealed to the executive branch 10 days ago, asking for a room. However, an employee of the executive power Seyfaddin Rahimov returned an "absurd" response, in which it is said that working with political parties is not included in the authority of the executive power. For this reason, they are advised to go to the "appropriate" body, without specifying which one.-05D04-
