The Bar Association has issued a statement in connection with the lawyer Aslan Ismailov. The report said that the Presidency of the Bar asked the court to exclude Ismailov from this structure.
The Board made the appeal on the basis of the letter of 14 February 2013 by the judge of the Sabail District Court of Baku Elnur Hasanov on the illegal actions of Ismailov.
The appeal was referred to the disciplinary committee and the Board, on the basis of its findings decided to punish Ismailov.
Ismailov himself believes that he is being punished by a political order emanating from the head of the Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev. -16D-
