The Catholics of Azerbaijan held a festive mass on the occasion of Christmas
Baku / 25.12.17 / Turan: Catholics of Azerbaijan celebrate the Nativity of Christ. In the Baku Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a celebratory Mass was held.
"Yesterday we had a mass in the Azerbaijani language. After the festive mass, a solemn dinner with music was held, Azerbaijani dances performed. We had a very good holiday, as we conduct other holidays in Azerbaijan, "Mushvig Bayramov, a member of the Catholic community of Azerbaijan, told the Voice of America service in Azerbaijan. The parishioners of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary are about 200 people. About 2,000 Catholics live in Azerbaijan.
