The court leaves the PFPA activist in custody

Baku/24.07.18/Turan: The Nasimi district court rejected a petition to transfer under house arrest the activist of the member of the Presidium of the Popular Front Party, Agil Maharramli.During the meeting, the activist stated that he did not consider himself guilty. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision, lawyer Agil Lajev said.

* On May 25, the PFPA activists Agil Magerramov, Ruslan Nasirli and Babek Hasanov were arrested. They were brought to justice together with the former head of the Gedabey region Saleh Rustamov and his nephew Vidadi Rustamli. They all were accused of "laundering dirty money", which was expressed in the transfer of PPFA donations collected from Azerbaijani businessmen in Russia. -06B-
