Baku/24.07.18/Turan: The Nasimi district court rejected a petition to transfer under house arrest the activist of the member of the Presidium of the Popular Front Party, Agil Maharramli.During the meeting, the activist stated that he did not consider himself guilty. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision, lawyer Agil Lajev said.
* On May 25, the PFPA activists Agil Magerramov, Ruslan Nasirli and Babek Hasanov were arrested. They were brought to justice together with the former head of the Gedabey region Saleh Rustamov and his nephew Vidadi Rustamli. France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific.
