Customs officers found almost 50 kilo of opium in the axis of the truck
Baku/24.07.18/Turan: Azerbaijani customs officers stopped the attempt of transit from Iran to Denmark of a large consignment of drugs 50 kilo opium. The operation was conducted on the basis of operational information on plans to transport a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Europe.
Based on this data, a truck from Iran was stopped at the Astara customs station of Azerbaijan. In the car, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran controlled a cargo - "lighting devices". During the check, carried out with the help of a specially trained dog and technical means, opium packets weighing 49,200 grams were found in the three axles of the trailer of the truck.
