The Court of Appeal will consider the complaint of Ilgar Mamedov and Tofig Yagublu in February
Consideration of the complaint of Ilgar Mamedov, the convicted leader of REAL Movement and Tofig Yagublu, the publicist and deputy chairman of the party "Musavat", will be held February 25, 2016, according to Fuad Agayev, the lawyer Ilgar Mammadov
On October 13, the Supreme Court considered an appeal, and sent the case to the Sheki Court of Appeal.
The Committee of Ministers will hold a regular meeting on December 8-10, which will be raised on the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Ilgar Mamedov and Tofig Yagublu.
Strasbourg has repeatedly demanded that the Azerbaijani authorities fulfil this decision and release Mamedov. However, official Baku ignores these requirements. Mamedov and Yagublu were accused of fabricated charges of organizing mass riots in the city of Ismayilli in January 2013, and were sentenced to 7 and 5 years in prison.-16D-
