The deputy head of the Sabunchy military enlistment office and the head of one of the departments arrested for bribery
Baku/13.03.23/Turan: The General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General detained officials of the Sabunchi District Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription while receiving bribes.
The detained are deputy head of the department Adyl Huseynov and head of the conscription department Togrul Iskenderov, the message of the Prosecutor General's Office. The first was detained for a bribe in exchange for extending the period of unfitness for military service for three years on the basis of a false medical report, and the second – for non-call to service.
Lawsuits have been filed against them under the Articles 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 Criminal Code (receiving a large-scale bribe). Both have been arrested. ---02D---
