On February 14 in the jail N1 (Kurdakhani) former head of counter-intelligence department of the liquidated Ministry of National Security, Miraziz Askerov, suffered a stroke. According to his lawyer Kyamandar Nasibov , the other arrested officer of the NASM Akif Chovdarov told about it. According to the lawyer, Askerov was placed in the hospital of the Ministry of Justice. He also noted that a similar fate awaits Chovdarov, who is not provided with the necessary medical care in prison. Under the arrest are more than 20 high-ranking officers of the former Ministry of National Security, who are accused of hundreds of episodes relating to kidnapping, racketeering, fraud, blackmail, extortion and other crimes.-03B-
