The number of COVID-19 infected has dropped sharply
Baku/13.09.21/Turan: Over the past day, 1,157 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, while 3,065 patients recovered, and 31 people died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 13.
The total number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic was 461,249, including 412,469 recovered, 6,134 died, treatment of 42,646 active patients continues.
During the day, 8,123 coronavirus tests were carried out.
Also, 12 66 people were vaccinated per day, including 1077 with the first dose, 189 with the second.
The total number of used vaccine doses was 7,611,206.
The first dose was received by 4 508 115 people, two doses - 3 103 091.-06D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
