The oppositionist dismissed for participation in the rally, will appeal to the European Court
Baku / 14.08.18 / Turan: Today the Supreme Court rejected the cassation appeal of the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party Hasrat Rustamov, who disputes the legality of dismissal from his job. He intends to apply to the European Court of Human Rights.
Rustamov worked as a doctor at the Baku ambulance station, and was fired several days after participating in an opposition rally in Baku on October 3, 2017. Rustamov went to court for reinstatement at work. However, the court of first instance and the appellate court left his complaints unsatisfied. -05/6B-
