The oppositionist is on hunger strike for the 45th day
Baku/23.03.23/Turan: The activist of the Popular Front Party Alizamin Salayev continues his hunger strike for the 45th day in the Baku pre-trial detention center-1,his son Oktay Salay told Turan after a telephone conversation with his father.
"My father's health has worsened, he has already lost 30 kg., and often loses consciousness. However, he is going to continue his hunger strike until he is released,” the son of the oppositionist said.
According to him, there is still no medical supervision for Salayev and he has not been transferred to a medical unit.
The two visits of the Ombudswoman in the pre-trial detention center, it did not give any results.
"The father said that if the attitude towards him does not change, he will go on a dry hunger strike," the son said.
Alizamin Salayev demands the release and termination of the criminal case against him, which was fabricated. ---06B--
