The Pardon Commission considered 700 appeals
Baku/14.02.23/Turan: On Tuesday, a regular meeting of the pardon commission under the President of Azerbaijan was held, at which about 100 appeals were considered.
Since the resumption of meetings in January this year, more than 700 appeals have been considered, Turan was told in the commission.
The next meeting will take place on February 23. The meetings will last until May.
As previously reported, the presidential decree on pardon will be timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the birth of ex-president Heydar Aliyev, which is celebrated on May 10. ---05D06---
