The funeral of the 71-year-old mother of blogger Firangiz Huseynova is expected on August 7. She died on the night of August 6 from acute heart failure. The previous appeal of the blogger to give him the opportunity to say goodbye to his mother was ignored.
Mehman Huseynov is one of the country's political prisoners convicted on false charges of insulting the police. The real reason for his persecution is satirical video clips, which expose corruption and arbitrariness of the authorities. -02B-
