The protest action of the disabled before the Ministry of Labor
Baku / 06.06.17 / Turan: A group of people with limited physical abilities on wheelchairs held a protest action today in front of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. They demanded an increase in the monthly disability allowance, which is 140 manats, as well as their exemption from utility payments. Protesters demanded a meeting with the minister. However, they were told that the minister was on a business trip. The official representative of the ministry promised to the disabled that they will be received by the Ministry next Tuesday. -36D-
